Frisco

So, I (Andrew Campbell) went to San Francisco recently. Other people came: Alex Varney, Martin Brixx, Andrew Wenckstern, Chris Vacca and Matthew Scott. Varney has been too SF a few times and I'm glad he decided to invite me on his visit this year. If you haven't been you should go, I know I'll be going back.

We stayed at the Green Tortoise as other Canadian Skateboarders did during the same time as us, namely: Duncan McNaughton, the Studio guys (or at least most of them) with photographer Geoff Clifford, Josh Clark, and another horde of Torontonians ended up invading the tortoise at the tail end of our trip.

Duncan McNaughton - Bluntslide
Chris Vacca - Back Tail

If you go you should skate the Avenues. Duncan took Chris and I there one day on the trip but we had to leave them all to shortly after a rude run in with the law. The Avenues are endless with their spots - as is Duncan with his knowledge of skate spots.

San Fran's got THE best vibe for skateboarding that needs to be experienced to understood and the scenery ain't so bad either.
